THE STEPS BEFORE FEDBIZOPPS.

By the time you see it, it’s already too late.

“Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value”

Albert Einstein
O

Opportunity

Your Biggest Client.

Rules require the federal government to post certain federal opportunities online for the public to bid on. Most of these public opportunities are posted on a single, centralized website called “FedBizOpps” (www.fbo.gov).

Anyone can go to this website, sort through opportunities and submit bids or proposals. There is no cost to use the site, and many of the contracts posted on this site are awarded to small businesses.

C

Challenge

Many Don’t Succeed.

The majority of federal transactions (“transactions” include credit card purchases, federal supply schedule orders, purchase orders, delivery orders, etc.) are not posted on FedBizOpps.

Those opportunities that are posted to FedBizOpps typically have the high competition, can have low margins, and the process of selecting the winner can take a long time.

Finally, if you’re seeing an opportunity for the first time in FedBizOpps, you’re at a disadvantage. There are four or five “Acquisition Planning” stages that came before the FedBizOpps posting stage. The company that will ultimately win the bid likely knew about – and even influenced – the bid process before you ever saw it.

Solution

We Help You Find Answers.

FedBiz Access understands the entire “Acquisition Lifecycle”, not just FedBizOpps.

We’ve developed a comprehensive strategy to teach you how to engage during the earliest stages of the process – the “Acquisition Planning” stages. It’s during the Acquisition Planning stages that many critical decisions are made about how an opportunity will be publicized, competed, and awarded.

Once you know how the process works from beginning to end, you’ll be able to work the process to your favor.
